I had to drop in to officially say congrats to the Class of 2023! You guys have worked so hard and deserve to have an amazing summer!
I also wanted to share some of our favorite shots from my Orange Beach senior photography session with Grace. She’s a beach lover though and though, and we had so much fun planning and spending this evening together! Her sweet momma even tagged along and was the best hype girl ever.

Grace has the cutest smile I’ve ever seen, and I wanted to make sure that her senior portraits reflected her fun and bubbly personality. We did a little bit of posing (because everyone needs a few somewhat serious senior portraits, right?), chased the seagulls, watched the dolphins and all around had the best time. It seemed like the epitome of what an Orange Beach Senior photography session should be.
Simple tips for fun senior portraits
You have so many options when it comes to your senior portraits! I’d first advise to make sure that you find the right photographer. Everyone’s style is different, after all! I personally choose to take some timeless, more serious shots and mix that with images that truly showcase your personality. With social media being everything right now, I also make sure to get some extra content that you might want to post! For Grace, we captured some behind the scenes videos and I even created this cute GIF for her. If this is something you’re looking for too, make sure to ask if your photographer can include those little extras for you.
Think about which season is your favorite time of year. Plan them for the summer going into your senior year, or anytime during! If you can’t decide or worry your style may change, try a summer session and a fall or winter session! Maybe you want a cap and gown session as well as something fun and casual. There are no rules here! Just make sure that you schedule your senior portraits far enough in advance to order your graduation announcements.
